My Favorite Story (composition 20/2/10)

My name is Ching Lam and I am a nine-year-old girl. My favorite book is called ''The Tail of Emily Windsnap''. I have known it for about a year.

It is a very adventurous story. The major character is Emily Windsnap. The minor characters are Emily's mom, Emily's dad, Millie(Emily's mom's friend), Neptune (the king of the sea), Mr.Beeston (Neptune's spy) and Shona (Emily's best friend). This story is about a girl named Emily Windsnap, aged 12, who became a mermaid whenever she entered water. she never knew because she had never entered water in her whole life even though she lived on a boat,''The King of the Sea''. She wanted to be sure, so she sneaked out at night to see if it was true. After her legs had transformed, she met a mermaid called Shona. They became best friends. They explored the sea together and once they got in big trouble.

I like the story because it is a very adventurous story. Sometimes the events of the story are scary and sometimes it is very exciting. It was a very enjoyable story. I think everyone should read it!
